Does anyone have any information regarding Miguel and Manuel Amao. Manuel was Governor of Baja California Sur in 1857-58. Miguel was a judge or justice of the peace in or around San Antonio/La Paz. I believe that Miguel and Manuel were brothers. Records indicate that both men were natives of Peru - possibly Lima - prior to relocating to Baja. I have found their wives and children and would be specially interested if anyone may have come across a mention of who their parents may have been.
