Carillo, Marron, Mayoral, Rodriquez
Yes, thoroughout our research we have found alot of Yaqui Indians in Southern California, they were brought up as Laborors and forced to be Soldiers if they were wanted by the Law in Mexico. Some of the Local Indiginous people here in California mixed with the Yaqui. We have found in our Carrillo/Marron line one of their descendents is California Indian. Whether it was of blood, adoption or servant. Any more questions please feel free to ask.

Re: Carillo, Marron, Mayoral, Rodriquez
I have done alot of research on my family my grandpas name was supposedly esteban carrillo but also went by esteban monarrez when he married my grandma he took her last name of valles, I was brought up knowing I was native American and had many family stories of what happened to my ancestors, I have pictures of my grandma and grandpa if you put them up to a yaqui picture they are nearly identical. I have a family bible from 1966 that is even written in yaqui language and even know a few words that were passed down, but I cant link the yaqui tribe simply because non of my ancestors signed a document saying "hey im yaqui" mainly because they were wanted for killing the Mexican army and busy hiding in texas and Arizona so honestly im sadden. before my father passed away he told me and my sister never give up find our people. he also said if you want to really search you have to go to Sonora, Chihuahua, Durango, and mexico city. if you have any information please let me know my family on my dads side were esteban carrillo (monarrez) 1921-1924 mexico died in 1996 California we have no other info on his parents. flora valles (wife) 1916 gila Arizona died 1983 California grandma parents are pedro valles 1886 Chihuahua mexico and eduarda arriola 1895 Durango mexico.
thanks to anyone with helpful information lisa valles (carrillo should have been my last name)
