But some say he might have been a brother of Thomas Hugh Smith (the progenitor of yo0ur and my Smith family descendent). He was a whaler on a Ship named Dromo that docked in Loreto and he stayed be4hine. He married Maria Meza and took up t6he name of Javier Aguilar as he needed a spanish name to marry back then.
