Hi,

I have some information, but the main concenring Victoriano's parents I do not have...but when my maternal grandmother was giving me the names of her paternal aunts and uncles and with whom the married, there were two of them, Victoriano and Sebastiana Villavicencio, who married two more siblings from the Aguilar Rodriguez family, Salvadora and Josè Marìa, I aked if the rest of the 3 other Villavicencios that were married with 3 other Aguilar Rodriguez, she clarified this to me: my uncles Victoriano and Sebastiana were brother and sister, while Salomòn, Betzabè and Victor were their cousins...these last three were Villavicencio Verduzco, while the first two might have been Villavicencio Salgado (all of them first cousins of the father of their Aguilar spouses)....but I am not sure but it does not matter, because what I know for sure is that they were children of one of the many brothers that Jose Rosas Villavicencio Arce had.....if you happened yo find it out I would apreciate very much if you share it with me....my email is roypad@hotmail.com...I live in Tijuana and I can gladly share a lot of information that I have.

best regards

Rogelio Padilla Ibarra

(my mother's mom was Bibiana Aguilar Lòpez, daughter of Sacramento Aguilar Rodriguez and Ysidora Lòpez Aguilar, second cousins from the Aguilar side, and second cousin again from the villavicencio side, since her paternal grandfather was Buenaventura Aguilar Villavicencio first cousin of her maternal grandfather Ysidoro Lòpez Villavicencio, who married Dolores Aguilar Sais, half first cousin of Buenaventura....I hope this is not confusing...hahaha

Hi....that is one confusing, yet interesting, family background! WOW...hahaha. I was wondering if you have a "Maria Louisa" in your tree? She was born in 1885 and when she was baptized she had the name of Josefa Verduzco who married Marciano Cortez and moved to the states in 1920. She is my great grandmother.

I look forward to your reply :) Have a good day!

Ok, thank you for your reply Roy :)

I was able to find some information about her. Her full name was Maria Luisa Josefa. Her parents were Ignacio Verduzco (also seen it as Berdusco in a document) and Maria Soto and she was born in Acuitzeramo but baptized in San Miguel, Tlazazalca, Michoacan, Mexico at 2 days old. I do have some leads on her parents siblings but have yet to research and document them.

Again, I appreciate your reply :)
Have a great day!

Hi Barbara:

I am not sure if I responded to you...I can think that your ancestor Luis Villavicencio was the grandson of Jose Urbano Villavicencio Acbedo and Ma. Josefa Arce Aguilar through one of their many male children...do you know who exactly are his parents? I also know that a brother of Jose Urbano, Rafael, went to live San Luis Obispo area, and had a lot of descendants there that some of them still bear the Villavicencio lastname, and many others don't but still are interested in genealogical research, as Doreen Dish, who Ilost rack of her, or Steven Fowler, whose wife is del Castillo and also a Villavicencio from her great grand mother's side....If it says Gastel for sure is Gastélum the last name of Luis wife, Ma. del Rosario....my email is roypad@hotmail.com
