Dear Connie,
I apologize for the delay in answering. I have been out of town attending the NSHG conference in Denver, CO this past weekend.
Thank you for your help in this search. It turns out that Catarino Romo and Dolores Garza were married on 11 Nov. 1865 according to Batch # M603839, Source #0635733, IGI. My Florentina Romo, however, was born in Gomez Palacio, Durango on Aug. 16, 1881 according to her death certificate. This is 13 yrs. after your Florentina, therefore, it is very possible that there were 2 Catarino Romos, possibly senior and jr. Florentina's mother-in-law was Fabiana Aranda who was married to Domingo Martinez, also originally from Aguascalientes, later from Gomez Palacio.
Family tradition has it that Catarino & Dolores were born in Spain, as well as Domingo Martinez and Fabiana Aranda, but I have been unable to prove one way or the other.
Do your extractions include pgp's & mgp's or parents?
Thank you, again. I am most appreciative.
My best to you,
Bill Trujillo
