Hi Chiquita:

My research is approaching the 1600s for Aguascalientes. Rita Robalcaba was born 1729 to Juan de Robalcaba and Sebastiana Lopez. Do you have any records for a Sebastiana or Maria Sebastiana Lopes, born circa 1800?

Jose Luebana and Tomasa Carrion were married 1728 in Aguascalientes. I am seeking their parents too. Francisco Gil was married in 1739 in Aguascalientes to Petra Efigenia Casillas. He was the son of Juan Gil and Bernarda Lopes who were a child-bearing couple as early as 1708 in Aguascalientes. Petra was born in Jalostitlan, the daughter of Juan Casillas and Maria Jacinta de Moya (who were married to each other in 1714 in Jalostitlan). Juan and Maria Jacinta were both free mulattos and Maria was daughter of Juan de Moya (a slave) and Juana de la Cruz.

I plan explore the records more in the weeks to come and see people with these surnames between 1670 and 1710 in the Aguascalientes IGI. Do you recognize any of these?

Thank you.

John
