I would like to find medical records of my grandmother who died of T. B. at the San in around 1939. My aunt and uncle were also there as young children with her at the time I believe. Thank you for any help.

Cathie, I hesitate to make this offer but I do have in my possesion some of the old paperwork and medical records from Fort San. It is unorganized or indexed so would involve a lot of searching. But if you want to give me some names to look for I will see what I can do.

Thank you so very much for answering my posting. It took the breath away from me. My Grandmother, Alma Dunham died at the San I believe. My Aunt Vera and my Uncle Clinton were also there. I believe she died in 1939-40. I never knew her. She left four children. My mother Gladys and son Lawrencewere at home in Fir Mountain. I hope and pray that you have something on her. I would like to know something about my Grandmother
Thank you so much Ralph. You have no idea what it would mean to me. Thank you again.

Cathie

Hi there. I came across your post about Fort San records. Do you still have one in your possession? I too am searching for family records.
