I am looking for a Deminski family that lived in the MacKenjie area in the 1930's to the 1950.
Any info that anyone can provide will be extremely appreciated.

no just that he lived in the Mackenzie , Robinson Creek area near to Ernest & Margaret Nelsons farm NE 18-37-06-W2.The name may not be correct either. He would have been in his early 20's. I know that this is sketchy but we don't have much on him. My husband was adopted and is looking for his biological father and was told he lived near Ernest Nelson and used to ride his bike to see Ernests daughter.isabelle.His name could have been Samuel Demenski, Debenski or Scebenski. He is probably deceased by now but there may be some family still alive.

Hi, Just did a search of the 1911 Canada Census - Saskatchewan There is a DOMANSKI family 1911 Census of Canada Home / 1911 / Saskatchewan / Mackenzie / 18 Townships 29 / page 26
Hi, Your father was adopted ? Has he obtained his Adoption papers -Some Provinces now allow access to this information - to the adopted child. These may show the correct spelling for the Surname of the Birth Father - The Original Registration of Birth - may show the name of the birth father with correct spelling Much depends on the circumstances - If the parents were married - If not - If the birth father agreed to have his name on the Registration of birth -[many did not ]. or if the mother did not wish to name the birth father - and he was not aware of the pregnancy.

Hi SStanger,
No my husband. In this case we were told she used her brother's name but we have sent for the record to see if we can get it released. It is 70 years ago and family members say different things WE have been told Demenski, Debenski, Scebenski. WE were also told he lived near the Ernest & Margaret Nelson farm NE 18-37-06-W2. There is a chance he moved to Ontario and opened a Deli store.
Thanks for trying. Doris
