Trying to locate the burial site for a Christina (MacLeod) MacKay. She was born in Scotland in 1882 and immigrated to Canada. She was married to Malcolm MacKay and had four children- Mary, John, Margaret, and Molly. Christina and Malcolm farmed in the Stornoway, SK. area. She died in 1918. Wondering if she may have been buried on the family farm.

I don't believe Christina died in childbirth, but I know that Molly was an infant when she died. I will check that out. Would the record of Christina's death be in Yorkton or Regina? Thank you for responding.

Hi, Registration of Death / Long form Death Certificate - It is expensive
From the Govt of Manitoba Vital Statistics Registry Office
http://vitalstats.gov.mb.ca/fees_and_services.html

If you know the religion the family followed - Church records - might be the best source
perhaps even a burial - at a church cemetery
