found a reference to Edward R. Hillis homestead record, Tship 7, Range 16 W2 . Thats just west of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada

I am trying to find where my relative Edward R. Hillis died. He was born 16 APR 1851 in Seneca Co., Ohio. He married Mary Rogers and they divorced. In family notes: Mr. Edward Hillis came to Attica Dec. 24, 1908 and left Jan. 1909. He will be 58 years old the 16th day of April.

His present address is Gillstrap, South Dakota. when he changes it will be Edmonton, Canada.

I wondered if maybe he chose to move to Weyburn instead.

Does anyone have any info on the Edward R. Hillis who had a homestead in Weyburn???

I am trying to find where he died. I think he died between 1908 and before the 1910 census since I cannot find him in the census. Is there any record in Canada for him in 1910??
I have been trying to find where he died for over 25 years.
