Hi RONC:
The Bruno History Book is now on-line at the following address. There is a tool bar in light blue near the top of the first page of the site, click on the HISTORY BOOK on the far right of the page. Families will be listed in alphabetical order.

Hi, Would you be so kind as to see if there is anything in the Bruno history book about the Huber families in or around Bruno?
Thanks.

Hi I found a couple of on-line history books with bios of Hubers from Bruno. When you open the books do a HUBER search and click on the page numbers that show up, then use the arrows at the top or bottom of the page to change. This book has John Huber on page 361. http://www.ourroots.ca/e/toc.aspx?id=4816 And this book has Catherine (Huber) Jessel's bio on page 518. http://www.ourroots.ca/e/toc.aspx?id=2479
Strangely I found a Huber named Bruno in another book. Butch

Hi, I have checked ourroots.ca and looked at those books, but thanks anyway. I'm interested in the Stephan & Mary (Poth) Huber family that were living at Bruno and are buried there.
I was hoping the Bruno history book would have something on the family.

Oops. Sorry. I meant to say my g-g-great grandparents were Stephan Huber & EVA Poth. I don't know why I typed Mary. Probably because their daughter Mary is my g-g-grandmother. She married Michael Ratch.
I did find Stephan and Eva Huber in the Bruno cemetery list which makes me believe that once coming to Canada, they likely spent the rest of their life in the Bruno area.
