1906 census look-up for Alice Massonat
I would be very grateful to anyone who can find the details of an Alice Massonat, born in France about 1880. I've just learned that in 1906 she was living in Assiniboia West. 1911 census??
Kind regards, Dave Mawle

Re: 1906 census look-up for Alice Massonat
Dear Ell,
Thank you very much for finding this for me. Actually, another contact had emailed me directly with the census record, but it's the first I've seen of Henry's voyage to Canada. I don't think they stayed in Canada, and Alice was the informant of her mother's (Maria Elizabeth Hurard) death in Hastings, Sussex in 1925. Not a trace of her after that and I'd love to find out what became of her. Thanks once again for your help.

Re: 1906 census look-up for Alice Massonat
Thanks ELL. They may have returned to France (or gone anywhere!!), so it wouldn't be on the Incoming Passenger lists. Thanks again.

Re: 1906 census look-up for Alice Massonat
Hello,
Michel Henri Massonat born in Paris 27/05/1879 apparently married Maria Alice Coutard while living in Alberta Canada. Deceased in 1911, France. Michel Henri had a sister in France (Albertine) deceased in 1984. Will be interested to know Michel Henri history while in Canada (1901-1906).
