His is in the Newspaper section in (back to Dunn Co, in upper right hand corner of the above site. Do you have any obits-As I did not know my grandmothers family. They are in the Teegarden Cemetery, Dunn Co. Wis I heard from a genealogy Angel-Who the man was whom lived at the address I was looking for, before Christmas. Was Evelyn a Quaker? Was the place I was looking for a meetinghouse? Or someplace else. I'm happy you contacted me as I couldn't find my posting. Now thanks to Rootsweb's generated response, I'm in touch with it again. My, but Canada has a lot of Querie Boards.? I was lost. Andy was on a farm northeast of Wilson when he passed away. Sorry to take so long getting back to you. I have had no luck trying to locate the address 2046 Asler St,Regina..have you? In response to your questions as to whether Evalina was Quaker..I am not too sure. We have,in our family, an album that Will gave to Evalina for Xmas of 1892. We are having a hard time identifying the people in the photos..some of the studios were in Menomonie,Baldwin,Rice Lake WI. I was confused from your last e-mail when your were talking about an Anderson and an Andy.I had forgotten about a bible that I have in my possession..thinking it was Evalina's. Brought it out and it was Andy's!! Alot of handwritten material- of which Andy has written in the back page "A bible and so it is mine-1860". There are separate hand written pages in same handwriting listing a "Family Record-1891"; a Marriage Certificate for Jaline "Jayley" marrying Wm Bragg by Justice of the Peace T.L.Decker,St. Croix Co.;a list of Dennis's children date Jan15,1916;a hymn composed by Martha Jane Adams to be sung at her funeral. From this I have discovered that Anderson and Andy (Andrew?) were brothers...correct? I have found land records for Anderson and Andy, also another brother Miles and their father Elijah. Registered around the same time and Twp were records for Jonathan and Enoch..would you know who they were? You were enquiring about obituaries..I don't have much for actual obituaries. I do have the engraving on headstone for William Boyd Stewart "In loving memory of William B. Stewart died Feb 27,1907 Aged 39years 5mos & 26 days "There is no parting in Heaven" Born Sept 1,1867" Evalina died Jul 22,1960 in Surrey,B.C., she was cremated and her ashes are buried with Wm (not recorded) in Penzance,Sask. Have you acquired any more info on Amanda/Andy? Do you still think there is Quaker in the lineage? On Evalina's side?

I am glad someone has Andy,s bible (if they are quakers, they recorded everything in the family bible. and guard it so as not to lose it). I sure wish i could read it. I'll have to look around and see if any of my relatives have any pictures of the Harrolds which may have been in Grandma Lurinda's effects. I, or my older brother and sister may know who the pictures are? Dad has 1 brother left, don't know if he would know. His family lived with grandpa Edward/Edgar Wilcox until he passed away.
I do not think Evalina was a quaker, aunt Jen had married Nathional Alemen Britton (she was this 3rd wife) He was a Baptist. Was he her first husband or 2nd. When was she born, died? I remember when she passed away. Can't remember the date. Was there any more info on William Bragg?
Any info on Martha would be appreciated. What I have is she married a Fred Anderson. So she must have married again.
Yes Anderson Harrold was Great Grandpa Andy's brother.
I'm told the address is not Asler st. It is Osler St. I'm waiting for more info. on the man said to be there.
I plan on checking at both Dunn Co and St Croix Courthouse for more info on the Harrolds, when the weather clears up.If I find it, I will know Andy was not a Quaker, I need death dates to locate the Obits.I could not find one for Andy at Menomonie. It could be in the writing. I didn't have time to look further.I heard Amanda was married twice. they couldn't remember who to.
Miles Harrold is said to have stayed in Indiana. He could have bought land in the area. He was said to be a prominent citizen.
Jonathan and Enoch are Elijah brothers. Their father is Jonathan Harrold married Ester Nelson. Would you know when Elijah died and where he is buried?
Obit's are found in some libraries. around Wis. they have them in the nearest large town. in Dunn Co. they are on micro film at the library in Menomonie. There are several books I'll be looking at, to see if any info. on the Harrolds and others I'm researching.
Where are the surnames on Canada's site's, do you know if there are any listed. It would be easier to locate the people.

Re: Looking for who lived at this address in 1929?
You are right the address is Osler Street in Regina. The best place to look would be the Henderson Directory for that time period, likely at the Regina Public Library.

Re: Armeda Evalina Harrold
Avis and Cheryl, I hope you are still watching these messages. I searched for Anderson Harrold and suddenly was in Canada! I descend from Anderson and Hannah Wellington Harrold, then their son John Burgess Harrold, who went to Indian Territory and married Rebecca Countryman. The Harrolds were Quakers, but I think they may have abandoned that religion by the time they moved to Wisconsin. Elijah Harrold and Rachel Beals were probably married in Tennessee. Their first son Anderson was born in TN in 1832. Then other children were born in Indiana: Andy 1835, Catharine 1838, Esther 1840, Mary Jane 1843, Miles 1846, Silas 1846, Jane 1849. Elijah's parents Jonathan and Esther Nelson moved with them to Indiana and died there. At about 1860, Elijah, Rachel and all of their children moved to Wisconson and lived in Dunn and Knapp Counties. Elijah and Rachel are buried in Teegarden Cemetery along with many other Harrolds, some of whom I do not know. Elijah has no stone. I visited with the caretaker of the cemetery in the late 1990s and have information that I will have to literally dig out of piles to tell you more. I have discovered a descendant of Andy, Dennis, and Dennis' daughter, but have not asked for siblings of Andy. I will contact him in hopes that he will be able to add a message with information about the Andy family. Just this week I was contacted by email by another descendant of Andy! Wow. I'll try to get us all connected.

I am researching James Kennedy (b. 06 Jun 1867 Egremont Twp, Grey Co., Ontario) and his wife Catherine Margaret Stewart (b. 12 Nov 1887 Egremont Twp, Grey Co., Ontario). They were married in Egremont Twp in 1914. Their only known child, Francis Martin Kennedy was born in Liberty, Sask. on 07 Jul 1917. Their child died 26 Apr 1921 and then the family vanishes.
Catherine was the daughter of Thomas Stewart and Sarah Ann Spicer - she had 3 siblings: John Robert Stewart (b. 29 Mar 1889), Susannah Mary Stewart (b. 23 Jun 1891) and Sarah Jannet Stewart (b. 11 Jun 1896). Do any of these Stewarts fit your family?

I will quote some excerpts from a book published by Liberty Optimist Club in 1982
KENNEDY, Jim & Catherine James, brother of Levi Kennedy, his wife, Catherine, along with their three children - Edgar, Sarah & Charlotte, farmed west of Liberty from 1914 to 1939 (five miles west and three miles north), then moved to Meaford, Ontario. Only Edgar and Sarah moved with them as Charlotte got married. Catherine passed away in 1955 and James in 1957, both being buried at Meaford.
KENNEDY, Levi Levi and his wife, with their children, came to Liberty from Ontario in 1912. Levi, a carpenter, built many houses and barns in this community. The family moved to Los Angeles about 1925. They had seven children - Mabel, Martin, Jennette, Annie, Ella, Grace and Lawrence.
KENNEDY, Charlotte Charlotte, daughter of James and Catherine Kennedy, married Victor Monette in 1939 and moved to Lapeer, Michigan. Victor passed away in 1959. They had three children, all living in the States. She later married V.B. Gark.
Hope this helps !
