Just wondering if anyone can tell me anything about this couple, I've read on the net he was an MLA, director and president of various Agricultural boards.

They lived in Carlea SK according to Wiki

They retired to Nipawin, Sask. Their bio is on pages 656 to 657 in the on-line Nipawin history book. http://www.ourroots.ca/e/toc.aspx?id=2781 The bio tells their dates of death as Jean in 1976 and John in 1982. They are also in the Aylsham book on page 336 http://www.ourroots.ca/e/toc.aspx?id=9059 Also many page numbers show up if you do a Gray search, but that family doesn't seem to be related. Butch

Thank you very much for the information. There must have been something in the water of Gargunnock for perfection, Jean's family, as well as the Lang, Risk and More, families were very influential in the breeding of Clydsdales. As far as I know she was the only Gray that left for Canada, her sister left for New Zealand , her brother stayed in Scotland.Gordon
