Hello,
I live in Meadow Lake, SK and have done research here for several years. To my knowledge we do not have a "Mountain Cemetary" in our area and at the moment all our cemetery's are under several feet of snow. I will however go through the local history books and see if I can find the family name mentioned.

Hello Butch: thanks for finding this new information. But, as with new info, there are more mysteries. How many Pansy are there in Sask? I asked the host of the Sask cemeteries if he could link me to the transcriber and any newspapers with obits indexed 1991 in the Meadow Lake area. Many thanks for your research. Cheers, Lynne

Try http://www.meadowlakeprogress.com/ or do a Google search for Meadow Lake Progress Newspaper, they have a website. It's possible the Pansy in the story was a "namesake" niece. Butch

Hello Butch: likely you are right about the namesake. In Our Roots, Pansy V Arnold was probably born 1920's. I did find a Richard Arnold's obit in the Meadow Lake Progress. He is also mentioned in the "Along the North End Trail". I also sent an email to the newspaper. Many thanks for your help! Cheers, Lynne
