I am searching for anyone who might have info on the Turtleford Newspaper. I am looking for obituaries for the years of 1924, 1925, and 1959. If anyone knows how I can get someone to do a lookup in this paper or who to contact regarding this please let me know. Thank you

Hi.
I don't know the information your after, but try phoning the Saskatchewan Archives Board at 306-933-5827. They will be able to tell if they have any and which issues of that paper in there holdings.

Surnames: GORDON, SOLVEIG
Hi, Some Public Libraries - hold Newspapers in their collections - on microfilm.
Do you know the dates of Death ?
Provincial Archive may hold newspapers in their collection.

for Anna SOLVEIG in 1959 and Leif GORDON. 1924/25.

Obituaries are not usually indexed - Searching through a Year or of papers can be very time consuming.
If you know where they are buried - Cemetery Office - or Funeral Home - can advise.
They may also know if an Obituary had been published - and which paper - Note: Funeral home may have been in charge of arrangements / Obituary - may have information that was to be published.

Always Best to enter surnames of interest in Capital Letters on the Subject Line - followed by given name. Time frame and location help.
Cheers, Stella
