Hello Donna,
I wrote to Jim Siddons as another sugested, but never received a reply. I am hoping to find where Annie BAKEWELL may be buried in 1922. The Bakewell family lived in Okla from 1912 till the spring of 1947. We would very much like to know where Annie was buried and if some kind soul would perhaps send us a picture of her resting place. The Grandfather William BAKEWELL was to our understanding, the first to be buried in the present day cemetary in April 1944. Thinking this, we do not know where Annie would be buried.

Hello! I noticed your message on Rootsweb and thought I would take a shot. Here goes! Have relatives that settled in Lintlaw, Okla and Preeceville in the early 1900's. There names were Axel Anderson and his brothers Ole and Charles or Charley. Axel was married to Mary and they had many children. Charley had two sons named Milton and Clarence. I think that Axel lived around Lintlaw, Ole around Okla and Charley around Preeceville.
I live in northern Minnesota, so have been trying to do research on the internet but can not find any help anywhere.
Can you help with maybe some resources on or off the internet?

There are no Andersons listed in the Lintlaw/Okla History Book. However there are 2 Ole Andersons in the Preeceville History book as well as others; some that the connection can be quickly followed.
1/ Ole Andersn and wife Alma came from Minnesota with children; Cater, Elsie, May, James and Guy, later a son, Lee was born at Ketchen, Sk. Ole and wife and sons and a grandson are buried at the Ketchen Cemetery.
2/ Ole P. Anderson immigrated to the USA from Sweden at age 12. In 1907 he and wife Johanna Saugmyhr. Ole died in 1933 and Johanna in 1945. (They connect to the following Anderson)
3/ Albert Anderson and wife Marrit Mattson, came to district in 1912 from Glenwood Minnesota. They are both buried in the Ketchen Cemetery.
4/Barney and wife Randine Anderson
5/ Nels Anderson came in 1901 with his parents. He never married and he died in 1935. All 3 are buried in the Ketchen Cemetery.
Note of interest; my husband grew up at Ketchen Sask which is only abt 5 miles W of Preeceville. Also both the history books mentioned can be read on line and when I get a moment I will pass on the link to you. On the net you can also put in a name to search the family as it may be mentioned on anothers story, which is real handy. Email me if you connect to any of these families and possibly we can go farther.
