Greetings to all,
I am looking for information on the Enright family that lived in Invermay. Ida and James Enright moved to the area about 1913 from Sisseton, SD. They are thought to have had at least one daughter, Pearl Margaret born in 1899. Ida was the sister-in-law of my great aunt Dora. I would like to hear from any descendants of Ida and James. Thanks for reading this query. Gerald R.

Hi Gerald, I'm not sure if I can be of much help, but I grew up in Invermay.. Growing up my father used to deal with the Enright's - I could ask him to see how much he knows. There is a Lyle Enright in Invermay still.. you can search
http://canada411.sympatico.ca/
for a current phone number listing.. I'm planning a trip home soon. Hopefully the end of this month. There are several cemeteries around Invermay - if you happen to know which one, or even which denomination I could check around. I go often to lay flowers on my uncles graves. Also my parents have the history book which is interesting in itself - I could check in there for you.. I'm researching my family also, but it's very slow going.

Hello Gerald, my late husband was James Enright, the grandson of Jim Enright and Ida Duncan. I have a good deal of information on the Enrights.

Are you related to the Duncan family? I would like to add more details to Ida Duncan Enright's lineage. All I have currently are her parents and two or three siblings.

Please contact me for further details on the Enrights in Saskatchewan. If you have a family tree program, I could send you a GEDCOM.

Sylvia

Hi Richard,

Not sure what information you have gathered so far...Jim Enright was my great grandfather's (Peter Paul) uncle. He too lived in Invermay. Peter Paul was the son of Patrick Henry Enright and Thereasa Schyler. They had 10 kids and moved to Invermay around 1913 with 8 of their kids. (Clara, Peter, Francis, Theresa, Bernard, William, Lewis and Patrick) Jim Enright was apparently already living in Invermay when Patrick Henry decided to move his family there. Peter Paul had 13 children, one named Ronald and his is my grandfather. I know Jim and Patrick Henry are sons of John Enright. But who is there mother? and how many siblings where there in total. I think Patrick Henry was born in Limerick in 1859.

Have you any other information?

Hello,
I'm doing my family tree and I'm having some problems maybe you can help me. On the way to Rama on highway 5 from saskatoon there is a house just before Rama. Its after a co-op bulk gas station. Its a rundown old house and barn beside it. My father has told me stories how his family use to visit relative in that house when he was younger and when his mother was still alive. It looks like a train station. My father said it use to be pink. But the problem that I'm having is finding out the last name of these people who lived there. If you have any info. to help me that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Nadine L. Wickenheiser (nee Hoolaeff)
