Ive been looking for my great uncle Richard Nightingale BANKS who emigrated in 1923/4 to Winnipeg, intending to settle permanently somewhere in Canada. I had a reply last December to a posting saying there was a private tree on Ancestry.com, and after doing a search with his full name i have since seen the listing myself - i can see Richards immediate tree (and it is the same as my family) , but I havent got access to the World subs, only co.uk so can't send a message to the owner, who i presume is in Canada or USA,

Not sure if im allowed to ask for help in contacting someone with a Private tree in this way? It is listed as ALLEN family tree with Richards full name, and all i need is a message passed on asking them to contact me via my profile. Obviously i dont want the owner having several people contacting them, but any help would be appreciated as it could be a breakthrough for me and my sister as Richard is close family who we never knew about until recent years.
