I am seeking any information on James Bruce, born March 1815 in Green Lake, Saskatchewan. He married Elizabeth Bird 18 Jan 1844 in Winnipeg - they had one child that I know of, Frances Bruce - b 1847 in Winnipeg. Frances married Thomas Slater 1859 in Winnipeg and had a daughter, Catherine Slater b about 1869 in Marquette, Manitoba. Catherine married James Rutherford and had 2 daughters, Ella and Frances both born in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
