I am looking for the marriage date and place for James Dunstan Quick (b. 18 May 1885, d. 1962)and Frances Maude Harrison (b. June 1885, d. 1977) of Senlac. James and his brother Andrew homesteaded adjacent farms at Senlac. James and Frances were married in the 1911-1915 period, in England or in Canada. Their daughter Jean Frances Quick was born 11 October 1916 in Saskatoon. Any clues would be appreciated.

From the Senlac history book "Out of the Past" it would appear that James and Andrew both married in the Senlac area, James in the first few months of WW1 and Andrew in 1921.

Thanks for your response. I'm interested to hear of "Out of the Past". Where can I obtain a copy or appropriate extracts?
Andrew D. Quick and Phillipa Trewhella were married in Montreal 30 May 1921 upon Phillipa's arrival from Cornwall.
From latest information I believe James D. Quick and Frances M. Harrison (of London) were probably married in England between mid January 1914, when James returned to Cornwall, and July 1914. A likely Mr. and Mrs Quick are shown on a UK authorities list of passengers embarked at Southampton 9 July 1914, but do not show on the ship's Canadian forms as arrivals in Canada. James returned to Canada from Cornwall in May 1915, unaccompanied. It may be that the impending world war situation caused them postpone their sailing. The date when Frances came to Canada remains a question.

I'm still searching for the marriage of James Dunstan Quick and Frances Maude Harrison, which probably took place in Saskatchewan.

I've found this additional information: "Frances M Harrison age 30 sailed from Liverpool on board the CP ship Missanabie 4 May 1916, arriving Montreal 14 May 1916, to be married to James D. Quick, Farmer, destination Senlac, intended occupation farmer's wife."
