My legal name is now Annette Joy Ward but I was adopted at the age of 5. I am now 51.

I was born in Vancouver, BC, Canada. My birth mother was Metis and born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada. My records reflect the names Inkster and LeTourneau. My mother's name was Mary Annette (she was Cree Indian and Metis) and my grandmother's name was Mary Inkster. My grandfather's name was Felix (I never knew my birth father). I am not sure where the surname LeTourneau entered the genealogy. Grandparents migrated from Saskatchewan to Stoney, Alberta and also spent a fair bit of time in Gleischen, Alberta (a Blackfoot reserve.)

am doing some genealogy research on the Letourneaus of Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta and I came across your message on the Battleford Message Boards. I see that your message was written in 2003, but I'm wondering if you still need the information.

What I have is this:

Annette Letourneau was born 13 Oct 1929, the daugher of Felix John Letourneau (b. 15 Jun 1891 in Minnesota ) and Mary Grace Inkster. Felix John was the son of David Joseph Letourneau (b. 10 Apr 1853, St. Thomas, Montmagny, Quebec) and Hermine Minne Grenier.
