Joseph Carrier (1810-1899) married Marie Angele Duperron Lavertue, 1835 in ST-HENRI DE LAUZON,LEVIS,QUEBEC.
I have about 10 children for this couple, one of which is my gr-grandfather, Francois Carrier b. Quebec, aka Alfred Currier (1865-1948) in USA.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone researching this couple & their children, all born in Quebec:
George Napoleon Carrier * 1848 - I only have his baptism
Joseph Carrier * 1836-1836
Angele Carrier * 1850-1857
Lea Carrier * married 1874 Moise Lamie * 1854-1908 (died NH, USA)
Edouard / Edmund? Carrier * 1837 (I can only find his baptism)
Aurelie Carrier * married 1885 Eusebe Drapeau * 1860 - 1937 (died NH, USA)
Marie Carrier * married 1880 Onesime Cyr * 1845-1913 stayed in Quebec
Archange Marie Carrier * married 1st Alfred Lamie, 2nd Frechette * 1856 - 1919 (died NH, USA)
Joseph Pierre (Peter ?) Carrier * 1843- 1929. Married Philomene Chabot. If I have the right records he went on to Ontario
Francois Alfred Carrier * 1865-1948
married 1st in NH,USA, Louisa Masters 1870-1912, 2nd marriage in Vermont to Katherine//Kathleen Bullis.
He was known in Vermont, USA as Alfred/Fred/ Frank &Franklin Currier, his tombstone reads F.L. Currier.
Louis Edouard Carrier * married Rosine Gagne * I only have a marriage record.
There is speculation that Louis Edouard & Edouard/ Edmund may be the same person.
My gr-grandfather named his sons:
Louis Edward Currier
Nathan Benjamin Currier
Hosea George Currier
Amos Charles Currier (named after Alfred's wife's brother).
His daughters were Elzina, Elevena & Elvira Grace Currier.
An infant, Dana, died at a few months old.
Can anyone add to this family?
Questions?? I will respond with what information I have available.
