Surnames: Flamsburg/Flansbury
I am transcribing the 1851 record for Ellen Flamsburg and her siblings and I only see one page on Ancestry, listing only the children, but no parent. I looked at the 1851 original census and it has 4 pages. Can anyone explain if I'm missing something?

Also in column 5 "Residence if out of limits" does it say Bytown for the Flamsburg family? and where was Bytown?

Original census with 4 pages http://c.mfcreative.com/pdf/trees/charts/1851CanadaCensusEW....

Thank you.

Hi,
The 4 pages are there, note the number corresponding to the person you are looking for (Helen Flansbury is 30 ex.) then click on the arrow for next page and you will have the other page. Go the the line 30 for the informations corresponding to her.

Also it's look like Helen and his brothers and sisters are living along. Do you know is the parents are dead ? If you go on page 73, you have a house description for each family.

Bytown was Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, the "old Ottawa". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bytown

Have a good day

No the father Dennis Flansbury died 1870 in Maniwaki. That's what I can't figure out. It looks like Ellen, the oldest at 14, Emilie 12, Stephen 10, Jane 7, Demson, probably Dennis Jr. 5, and Margaret 2, lived alone, is that possible? On page 73 above Ellen's name line 28, Joseph Leveillé and line 29 Sarah Smith, does this sign " mean they lived at the house?

Thanks for your help! Merci beaucoup.
