Wow..thank you for your prompt response. Guess I have to move either further into Quebec, or more into Renfrew as that is where they were settled from prior to 1861 to 1881 according to census resutls and birth/marriage records of their children and then they landed in Alpena, Michigan about 1882-83

Surnames: Lapierre/Larochelle
I have been searching for years for any information of the parents of Adelaide Lapierre married to Etienne Larochelle- have found numerous information on their children, namely David Larochelle and Alexander Larochelle, however cannot locate any information on either parents - Etienne born about 1816 and died between 1861-1871. He married Adelaide October 4, 1841 in Basilique Notre Dame, Bytown, she was born abt 1828 and died 1908 in Rolph wp. Their son David married Mary Ann Camley in Pontiac, Sept 24, 1877 in Pontiac, Alexander born 1860.

any help would be greatly appreciated....

I could use some help locating a marriage for a Anne Mosely ( or Mozeley or Moseley) and a William Vielow/Violon/Vialant, marriage between 1861-1863. I have seen so many spelling variations that I am stuck until I can find a marriage listing parents ... Thank you

Hi,

I found William jr Viola and his family Census 1901. See http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/census/ProofFrame.jsp?id=2...

William jr born in 1855 and Ann his wife born in 1870. If William jr is the son of William and Ann, they got married in 1855 or before.

It looks like there is 2 William and Ann or with similar names.
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1942-28004-7471-22?... This couple can't be the one on the census. I don't find any baptism of the children from the census. They are from Church of England.

Have you seen this act ? http://interactive.ancestry.ca/1091/d13p_00290623?backurl=ht...
Georges Arthur, born in 1850 ? and baptised in 1882 ? In the margin, we see 1850, in the act, the priest wrote mil huit cent quatre vingt cinquante, which is impossible. Translation is one thousand eight hundred eighty fifty.

If it's the good family, William Viola Vignola ... and Ann Mosley were married before 1850.

Jacynthe
