Looking for anyone else who is researching the subject families. My gg grandparents were Calixte Vallière(s) and Rosalie St.Jacques, married June 1, 1885, at Notre Dame De La Salette, Ottawa Co. Quebec. She was from Gracefield and he from Maniwaki I believe. I am descended from their daughter Emma Vallière. Most of their family ended up in Northern Ontario, Kirkland Lake/Cobalt/Kapuskasing etc.

There were a number of other connections between these families including Antoine St.Jacques married to Julie Vallière, sister and brother to the two previous individuals. I am interested in finding anyone else related to these families to share information and possibly pictures of the family that might be scattered around the descendants.

Jason,I have connections Valliere/St Jacques through my Graveson/Gravison ancestry. Henriette Graveson and Lazarus Valliere were my gg grandparents,one of their daughters Delima married William St Jacques son of Jean Baptiste Cheval St Jacques and Marie Edwidge Brisette.Henriette Gravesons brother Thomas Graveson married Elise Demers their daughter Anna Graveson married Romain St Jacques son of Jean Baptiste Cheval St Jacques and Marie Edwidge Brisette.another daughter of Thomas and Elise,Yvonne married Arthur Edward Valliere brother to Lazarus.Lazarus and Arthur Edward Vallieres parents were Gabriel Valliere and Scholasique Metayer.You can contact me at gravison@optusnet.com.au
