Looking for info on above family. My g-grandfather James Henry Cameron was born to them in Quebec (Buckingham, Ottawa area) circa 1850. His father, John Cameron, stated in he above marriage record (January 12, 1845, at St. Gregory's, Buckingham) that he was born in 1823 and that father was James Cameron and his mother Jane Mathews from Coleraine, Derry, IE. In addition to James there were at least 2 other children, Ann who was born while parents were living in Hull Twp. and baptised at St.-Stephens, Old Chelsea on May 2, 1847 at the age of 4 months and a John / William / or John William . Family legend says one or both parents died and the children were split between the Caseys (took James Henry) and the Camerons (took John and Ann).

This is all that I have. I do not know if John was born in Coleraine or if his parents moved there after his birth. John's wife, Sarah (Sally) Casey was born in Buckingham or Lochaber in 1825. Her father, James (b.1790) and her mother Elizabeth Briget Whelan (Wealan, Phelan, ???) born 1791, were from Abbeyleix, Queens County (now County Laois), IE

Does anyone have further information on these people or others in their families?

Thanks,

J Fulton
