Surnames:
From what I understand, Masco is a short term for Yamaska. St-Hyacinhe, Qc used to be called Yamaska, although Yamaska Mountain is next to St-Paul d'Abbotsford, Rouville Co. Qc. and also includes the townships of Granby and Milton.
