Is it possible to obtain transcripts of these pages, or, at least, a readable copy? Would anyone know where they could be obtained?

I am searching for Celina Maria Auger's family. She stated that her father is Joseph Auger and her mother is Regina Marcile. Celina was born in Quebec in 1854 and married a John Boucher. I am not sure where the marriage took place. At some point she remarried a man named John "Ernest" Billock in Taylor Cnty, Wisconsin. She had children with both husbands. Please contact me if you have any information to share on any of the above named families.
Thank you!
Sue
Hi Gary,
Glad you have found a great deal of information in these places that so many have painsteakingly added to the reams of information all has gleaned. My family settled in Ormstown (Jamestown) in 1823 from Limvaldy, County Derry Ireland in 1823. Mention in the Sellers history. I come back every once in a while and check through these sites. Good luck on your continued searches. All the best,
Ron

However, I believe I have found the Parents of William Smellie (married to Euphemia Innes ) who lived near Ormstown, Quebec.... ( to be William Smellie -born abt 1783 in Bothwell, Scotland & Margaret Russell born abt. 1787. Their other children were Elizabeth b. 1808, John Smellie b.1813, and Thomas Smellie b. 1821. My Smellie line came from Medrox, New Monkland Lanark, Scotland. I am still looking for a possible connection btw. these 2 families.

I do have more information on the William Smellie and Euphemia Innes Family descendents if that is the line you are interested in.

Gary

My mother was born in the county of Godmanchester - on the now named Smellie Road - approx 4 miles from the town of Huntingdon, Quebec. His gr. grandmother Christina Gould married William Stefenson (Stevenson) and my gr. grandmother Joan Gould married William James Smellie.

Thank -you.

Gary

Just came across your post. My 2nd great grandmother was Agnes Massam,b.1827 in Canada. She was a daughter of John Massam and Catherine "Kitty" Duff. If this matches your family, I have some old autograph books from the 1890's with other Massam names in it. In 1890 they were in Trout River Lines, NY, right across the border from Montreal. Contact me if youwould like.

Claire, thank you so much for check these.
I do have records (have seen) on Helene, Guillaume and the marriage for Pierre to Sarah McCalvey. The ones I have viewed do not mention an Edwidge as the mother but as the godmother. In Pierre & Sarah Mc Calvey's marriage at St. Chrysostome, it indicates Pierre's mother as Marie Legault dit Deslauriers. The thing is Claire for the same time period there was a Pierre Blais m. to Edwidge Deslauriers and a Pierre Blais m. to a Marie Legault dit Deslauriers. I realize Marie was given to most women baptisted in French Canada, but these two are seperate families. Probably cousins and sisters. No marriage has been found on either Pierre to prove their ancestry.

Bonjour Barbara,

V.

Hi Brad.
I believe that Alexandria Mary Miller was the sister of Marie Rose Miller, also a daughter of Louis Peter Livernois (Miller) and Mary Rose Delima Varin. Marie Rose Miller is my father's grand mother. We also know that she married Benjamin Goyette in 1909, Churubusco. You mentionned you have extensive records for all the children of this marriage. Would you have any information concerning your grandmother's sister Rose Marie Miller?

Also, suprisingly, on her marriage record, they wrote 'color' in the bride section. Would you know, by any chance what they meant? Where they black for instance or perhaps what we call 'metis'?

Thank you for the help you may provide.

Valerie
