I am Frankie Robinson br 1936 Charleston, MO, to James Hillen Robinson br 1902 de 1979, and Joella Ervin br 1914 de 1989. James & Joella div 1940, but had lived separate and as far as they concerned they were divorced from 1938 but Jim's 3rd wife, Margaret, made him get it legally. James Hillen Robinson br 1902 son of Thomas Stanton Robinson br 1876 de 1943, and Lillie Burchell br 1870 de 1947 both buried in W. Salem Cem, Mt Vernon, Jefferson Co IL. They raised family in Springgarden Twp in that county. He married 2nd time to Bertha Page w/3 ch, Vivian, Viola, & Joe. Lillie married 5 more x's to Adams, LaMaster, Powers, Hale, and lastly to Scott Beaty all in Whittington, Franklin Co IL. all on a corner of a block and all de of old age. amazing. Anyway, Thomas Stanton Robinson is son of many ch of Richard Dick Hillen Robinson br 1851 de 1925 after 3 marr. 1st to Melissa Daugherty, 2nd to Cora Ethel McKane who de 1922, and Martha McGowan in same year he de 1925. Melissa is just there. I can't find any document on her parents or where she was from. Sometimes those old documents don't show anything but names. In Missouri it is just like that and they always lied about being "over 21 or over 18". Ha Ha. See if your Daugherty fits. Sincerely, Frankie Robinson Eggemeyer.

Hi, I just came across your posting from 1999. My great-great grandparents were Hubert and Lea Dagenais. Perhaps we have a link somewhere. (I'm just starting out and don't really have much information, so I'm trying all aspects)
|
Hello,
Better years later than never but I have just come across one of your old postings on Hubert and Lea Dagenais. (great-great grandparents as well). I have tried to dabble a bit but am relatively new at this as well over the past couple of years on and off. Any help that you could provide would be greatly appreciated as little of what I have known of family members was not talked about much.
Thank you!
