Looking for any info on families of William MUIR & Catherine BERTRAND (1781-1829) & William's parents, John MUIR (b. 1758) & Catherine ELLIS. I know that at least 2 of 8 children that Wm. & Catherine had lived in the Chateauguay area, Pierre (AKA Peter)(1814-1891) & Guillaume (AKA William). Pierre m. Martine LABERGE & Guillaume m. Marie-Claire NEVEU. Pierre & Guillaume's other six siblings were: Napoleon, Marie-Anne, Elisabeth, Anne-Marie, Marguerite, & Catherine. I do know quite a bit about Pierre & Martine, they were my gr-gr-grandparents. I'm quite willing to share what I do know. I do have other strong suspicions about other MUIR ancestors back past Pierre, but I need to be able to do quite a bit more documentation. I also know quite a bit about the LABERGEs and am also quite willing to share what I do have.
