My gr-gr-gr grandfather was Charles Poulin from Three Rivers. He married a Flavia ( no last name ). they had at least one son (Mitchell), who eventually moved to Vermont. Looking for any information on them or web sites to find information. Thanks in advance.

Like I said, regretfully I dont read french so you would need to get a copy and get it transcribed into English as (looks to me) other names are shown. On mircrofilm at Drouin Collection. Montreal, Quebec, Canada: Institut Généalogique Drouin.

Some of these old church records also contain other info like confirmations, dispensations, censuses etc so, brush up on your French (LOL)

thanks so much for your help. Now, on to finding Mitchel ! I have that he was born in Mont St. Gregoire, in 1852. I know he married in Notre Dame de Granby, 1874 and had a son - Louis, but his wife died soon after. That was when he moved to Vermont and settled in the New Haven / Charlotte area where he became a blacksmith.
