I am trying to find information about louise Manitouakikaue (various spelling occur) as far as I can figure she is suppose to be my gr 9th grandmother. I have found reference that suggest she is Alqonquine and born about 1640. One reference calls her daughter of Manitouakikaue. Does anyone know what reference this means. there are references to haveng been a sauvagesse and references on her childrens records that mother was a native or indian. She was married to Pierre Artault-Latour.
Is Manitouakikaue a reference to her parents(s), tribe? area she is from. I have no idea.
