I am searching for info on the following family:

Paul MORIN, b: ? married to Leocadie TREMBLAY, b: 13 Mar 1813, St-Joseph, Maskinonge.(dau. of Francois TREMBLAY and Victoire GAUTHIER)

Children:
Marie Victoire, b: 27 Dec 1829
Marie b: 25 Jun 1831
Francois Xavier, b: Nov 1833
Maxime b: 22 Mar 1836
Christophe b: 10 Apr 1842
Marie Aurelie, b: 24 Apr 1842
Edouard, b: 1852 ?, married to: Elisabeth BOIVIN, ( father was Francois BOIVIN )

I can't figure out who Paul MORINs parents were, and I am not sure what Elisabeth BOIVINs mother's name is. Is it Elisabeth PRISCOTTE or GAUDIN/GODIN ? or is this a "dit" name?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Cindy

These people are not part of my family. But both sides of my family, paternal and maternal, are from the Maskinongé / Louiseville areas. Hence my interest in that region. Helping others researching their family often brings surprises along the way, like finding some of my own missing links. And I am lucky enough to have a lot of resources at my disposal, that I like to share with others, whenever possible.

By the way, I don't know if you are aware of the fact that quite a few of the children of Paul Morin and Leocadie Tremblay were married in St-Didace. If you don't already have that information, let me know, I'll be happy to post it.

Suzette
