Seeking additional information on Joseph Orphire Robert Fugère and first wife Zoe Despins, and their children. They were married 25 Jun 1867 at Ste-Genevieve-de-Batiscan. I am looking for a date/place of birth and death for Zoe - she was born c. 1846 to Louis Despins and Adelaide Thibault. I have four children listed: Louis - 1871 [married 1889 to Odile Normandin, 4 children that I know of]. Adolphe - 1872, Philomene - 1874 and Rosalie - 1879 [married Ernest Hamelin 1895]. Would like exact dates for them as well. The family lived in St-Luc, Champlain. Would appreciate additional details on any of these individuals

My greatgrandpa Alfred (Old Pepe) Despins was born about 1829 from St-Genevieve de Batiscan. This puts him in the same area as your ancestors Louis & family. Could they be from the same family,same parents ,same grandparents,etc.
Please advise me if you have any info in regards to Alfreds ancestry. Any information would help, as I havent been able to find any relatives of Alfred.
