Bonjour je m'appelle David Vendette je suis le descendant de Zephirin Vendette qui est mon arrière grand-père. son fils Origène qui c'est marié à Élise Rivest est mon grand-père, Mon père s'appelle Stéphane Vendette, Il a deux frères Patrice et François et également une soeur Nicole. I’m looking for info on Paul Thibodeau. I have found lots of conflicting information about him. I know he first married Antoinette Landry and secondly, Euphrosine/Euphrasie/Frazine Thibaudeau/Thibodeau.

Some records say Jean Baptiste Thibodeau of 1759 had Joseph David Thibodeau who had Fulgence Jean (Filjance) Jean (John Thibodeau) who had Paul Thibodeau who had Jean Baptiste Edward “Eddie” Thibodeau, born 1913 (who married Bertha Verdie Dube), who had James John Thibodeau born 1940 etc.

I’ve also found other information which said Paul’s father was Hubert Thibodeau and more info that said Placide was Paul’s father.

I also found conflicting birth years for the SAME Paul Thibodeau who married Euphrosine/Euphrasie/Frazine Thibaudeau/Thibodeau. Some records show he was 30 years older than his wife (2nd marriage for him). Some records show he was 27 years older than she was. Some records show he was born 1850, some show 1858, some 1860.

I think people are mixing up multiple Paul Thibodeau’s but GIVING him the SAME wife: Euphrosine/Euphrasie/Frazine Thibaudeau/Thibodeau

My grandfather Raoul Messier ( son of Hubert and Octavie ) use to tell stories about either his father or grandfather going out to the California Gold Rush and had an old pair of chaps and a six shooter that he would show us. Never thought it was true but it sure was fun for us kids. Your bring up California brings that to mind. What can you share. What was Hubert's fathers name?

J'ai vu sur l'Internet (pas de documentation) qu'ils (Joseph et Marguerite) avait un fils Stanislas, ne le 15 novembre 1820 a St. Paul de Lavaltrie mais si cela est vrai, cet enfant ne pouvait pas avoir etait (ete?) "le fils majeure" de Joseph Marcil est Marguerite Nadeau.

J'ajoute que le fiche de mariage dit "le beau-frere de l'epoux est Pierre Marcan" (Marsin?). Catherine Marcil, la soeur de Stanislas etait en fait l'epouse de Pierre Marsin.

Michael, I've been able to find only the marriage of one son from the 1st marriage in the BMS2000, v. 6:
Mazime SAULNIER (Cyrille+Rosalie CROZÉ) m. 1873-08-26 in Ste-Brigide parish, Montréal, QC to Célina PLANTE (Antoine+Rose LÉVESQUE).
No other marriages found for child with his wife | #.
Found marriage of one daughter from 2nd wife:
Délia BEAUSOLEIL (Cyrille+Delphine BEAUCHAMP) m. 1901-01-22 in St-Henri parish, Mascouche, l'Assomption County, QC to Damase DUPRAT (Damase+Héloïse CHAPUT).
DUPRAT is usually spelled DUPRAS.
Note given name of 2nd wife: DELPHINE & not Adéline.
That's all I could find.

I came across your message from 2006 re: native americans in 1830's. You had surnames of Pelletier and Perreault listed. I have those names in my line and wondering if you came across any information re: native americans heritage? One of my great grandparents(my grandmother's parents Joseph Pelletier and Marie(Mary)Pothier)are supposed to be half Native American. I have been trying to find information on which one it was. Joseph and Marie (Mary) either divorced or she was widowed. She then married a Joseph Perreault. Her sister, Roseanna Pelletier married a Edward Perreault. I don't know if they were brothers or cousins. I know that Joseph & Marie(Mary)lived in both Providence RI and New Bedford Mass. My grandmother was born in New Bedford in 1894. On the census it lists both her parents as being born in Canada. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated.

I think the son, Delois, whom you have is really Delphis. His is the only marriage of a son that I've been able to find in the BMS2000:
