Help, I've hit a brick wall! Nathaniel Stringer and Jane Steacey

Surnames: Stringer, Steacey, Stacy, Jenkinson, Bestall
Hi, I could really use some help as I've hit a brick wall.

Nathaniel Stringer married Jane Steacey (Stacy) in Montreal in the early 1820's or during the 1810's but I have not been able to find any information on them or their families (parents names, siblings etc..) I also don't know the date of their marriage.

The names seem to be British, not French, and I would love to find more info about them and their ancestors as I have been hitting a brick wall. I know that ancestry has their marriage record but I don't have the global subscription to see it to get the date, location, or see if it lists their parents names.

Nathaniel and Jane's daughter Jane Stringer is my ancestor and she married George Bestall Jenkinson and they moved to Newark, NJ in 1850 or so (I have lots of info on them and their descendants).

Thank you in advance for any help or info you could share!

"The names seem to be British, not French"

Agreed (or Brit Isles , Steacey/Steacy, Irish?), this would also indicate they were not Catholic.

Non-Catholic records have much less detail than the Catholic, but what I found has a couple of bonuses.

I did find the marriage doc, due to copyright of the site, I can't post the a picture of it.

Nathaniel Stringer and Jane Steacey,
m 8 Dec 1824, Montréal (Anglican, Christ Church Cathedral), PQ, CN

"Nathaniel Stringer of Montreal, joiner and Jane Steacey of the same place, spinster, were married by license on the 8th day of December by me, John Bethuny, Rector.

The marriage was solemized in the presence of George Steacy, father of the bride and James Phins a friend of the parties who have here undersigned their names."

=============================

There are some other marriage records which appear to be for siblings of Jane Steacey,

============

Daniel Webb and Elizabeth Steacy,
m 16 Sep 1823, Montréal (Anglican, Christ Church Cathedral), PQ, CN

George Steacy is listed as her father in the marriage record as a witness as well as James Phins, a friend.

===========

Benjamin Evans and Catherine Steacy,
m 31 Oct 1835, Montréal (Anglican, Christ Church Cathedral), PQ, CN

Witnesses are George Steacy and George William Steacy.(GW is a most likely a brother).
