That was very nice of you to translate that for him. I am learning how to glance at the Quebec records to find the specific names and general idea without knowing french. I have too many records to ask to be translated.

But is there a pattern/ form for these registers?
Does it say the date, then Birth or Bapt, person's name the childs parents names, then godparents their relation to child then whether they could sign for themselves?

Also for the marriages is it the grooms name first his parents then brides and her parents?
I think it says their occupation also?
