I'm trying to research a family (my great great uncle) who emigrated from Bristol to Quebec in 1912. After he left the UK I have no more record of him and would like to trace what became of him in Canada.
While I'm very familiar with the UK records I am completely at a loss in Canada and don't know where to start.
Is someone able to point me towards any sources that would be appropriate in Quebec?

The family is father: James Charles Giles (born 1873, Aldershot, UK - a painter), mother Grace Ann Hoswell Giles (nee Wood) and children Maude Grace (1904) Reginald James S (1909) and Catherine (or Kathleen - varies) (1911).

I know they sailed on the Royal Edward from Bristol to Quebec on 26 June 1912. Beyond that I've no idea what became of them.
