Greetings - I am researcher for a documentary about Irish immigrants to Canada during the Great Potato Famine. In particular, descendants of those who survived the incredible story of the HANNAH. Departed Newry April 3, 1849 to Quebec. Struck an iceburgh in the St. Lawrence, the survivors scrambled out on the ice and survived to be picked up. Incredible story can be found at:
