Hi again,
you will have to be a bit more specific on what you search:
That ''Lacoup'' would be Léa Lelièvre mother?
The closer bet is:
Isaac Lelièvre (Louis and marie Roussy) m. Grande-Rivière on jan 8, 1889 Salomé Lancup (Joseph and Marie Dupuis).
It would be a matter now to make sure that Léa Lelièvre was the d/o Isaac and Salomé Lancup, also written Lankop.
That the Lankop were of German descent is possible, I do not know yet, but your ancestor Lancup married a Félicité Stibre ca 1802 whose father was from Creinacth near Manheim in Germany.
Hope that helps

Hello Paul Dakin, My name is Alain St-Laurent living on the Southshore of Montreal in St-Isidore Quebec. I am a little, little Grand son of Valeda St-Laurent and Delivina Lelievre, my Grand Parents. According to my father Raymond's stories, Valeda & Delvina moved to Montreal and had 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys. Rita, Raymond, Liette and Gaetan. Rita St-Laurent married Lionel Fullerton from Saskatchewan and had 1 daughter Lois. Raymond St-Laurent married Monique Leblanc and had 4 children, Helene, Alain, Diane and Danielle. Liette St-Laurent married Don Egerton and had 3 daughters, Joanne, Carol & Gail. Gaetan St-Laurent married Jeanine Laberge and had 5 children, Norman, Michel, Gerrie, Richard and Louise. The family has stayed around the Montreal area for years until recently where they have spread out to Ottawa and San Diego California. Rita and Raymond have recently passed away and Liette and Gaetan are up in years. I have often looked for links to family genealogie and this is the first reference I have found to either the Lelievre or St-Laurent history. If you need details and dates, I could probably dig these up for you. Enjoy.

Please note:
Theodore married Syvie Baron on April 10, 1944 in St-Nenri Montréal, Qc. There is no Dora??

Bonjour Paul,
I am Joanne Egerton daughter of Liette St-Laurent and Don Egerton. My grandmother was Delvina Lelievre and my grandfather was Valeda St-Laurent. My cousin Alain St-Laurent already posted an answer to your question.
Hello cousin Paul!!!!! I presently live in Vancouver, British Columbia as of the last six years. Delvina LeLievre now has a great grandson Michael who lives in Chateauguay, Qc (that is my son).
Though I live in Vancouver, the rest of my immediate family lives in California.
Sadly, though tomorrow is the funeral of my father Don Egerton who passed away on January 27, 2011. The service is being held Saturday, February 19th, 2011. My father had incredible memories of Del St-Laurent and her amazing cooking! They were two English brother-in-laws (Don Egerton and Lionel Fullerton) who married the two girls of Delvina - Liette and Rita. My two uncles Raymond and Gaetan St-Laurent called them the "vultures" because they were there every Sunday for dinner and ate all the food they could. lol lol lol
Sadly, my uncle Raymond St-Laurent passed away a couple of years ago. Rita passed on about a year before Raymond.
Paul, I hope you can get in touch with all our family. Thank you for posting this. By chance tonight I just Googled my Dad's name Don Egerton and came across your posts.
I wish you the absolute best in finding where all our family is now. I bet we can have a real *wicked* family reunion too. lol lol lol
French Quebecers know how to party!!!!!
Take care for now! Joanne St-Laurent Egerton

Hello Joanne,
My name is Richard Dakin, son of Paul. Sadly Paul passed away September 2005. I know he would have enjoyed hearing from you. Since his passing I have been searching for family and have had some success. I have managed to locate all his families history, including his mother Lea Lelievre. They have an interesting story. Leas mother Salome Lancup ( Langkopft), and her father, Isaac Lelievre, both share the same ggggrandmother, Felicite Stibre. . Lankopft, a Hessian soldier fighting in the American revolution, stayed on in the Gaspe after the war and married Felicite and had two sons, and their line continued to Salome. Lankopft drowned while fishing and soon after Felicite married Daniel Lelievre and had two sons and their line continued to Isaac.. One of the most interesting bits in my history. I have been in contact with Alain St. Laurent and he has given me with his history and some old photos of Isaac. If you want to share info drop me a line and we can talk some more. One picture I would dearly love to have is of Salome. Alain looked but found nothing. He thought she died in the early 1920s, possibly from the Spanish flu. I have photos of all my great-grandparents except for Salome. I too live in BC over on SaltSpring Island.
