The New Carlisle area of Bonaventure County was one of 22 loyalists townships//areas of relocation set up in the 1783-1784 time period in the old Province of Quebec ( which then included Ontario).
I am interested in any info about the loyalists and military personel who settled there before 1800.

I am descended from John Ross and Catherine Morrison, d/o Hector Morrison and Barbara Fraser. Hector was a loyalist and his family went to Bonaventure County in the late 1700's. I have lots of info. I'd be willing to share.

Merci,
Have you found any new information on Kerr of Pabos ?

Re: LOYALISTS in the Gaspé
Saluts,

Captain John Meyers Regiment of Jessop's Loyal rangers. His discharge papers and much more can be found on the web sites I gave you.I have traced his family back to the Tripps of Rhode Island.
