Salut Jean-Pierre,
J'ai le décès de sa première épouse, je ne sais pas si ça peut te servir:

Robert Alford (b. c1798; living in 1833)
Robert Alford was born in England about 1798 and came to New Brunswick as early as 1814. In 1819, he applied for a grand of land on the North West Miramichi, above Trout Brook. A survey order was issued in 1824, but the grant was not made. Meanwhile, in 1822, he was a witness to the marriage of William Matchett and Mary Fraser, and on December 24, 1823, he and Mary's sister Abigail Fraser were married by the Rev. Samuel Bacon, rector of the Anglican Church, in the presence of James White and the Chatham businessman Lewis Henry. They settled on a portion of the Fraser property (Lot 10) at Sunny Corner. They remained in North Esk until around 1833. They later resided in Bonaventure County, Quebec. Their four known children were baptized in the Anglican Church.

Children:
A. Albert Alford (bap. 6 Apr 1830-)
Mary Ann Alford (bap. 27 jun 1830; d 12 feb 1881) m. Archibald Kerr
Andrew Alford (bap. 27 jun 1830; d 12 feb 1881) m. 1st Isabella Downs and 2nd Mary Fraser
John Alford (b. 15 jul 1832 - )

Mary Ann lived at Little Pabos (Petit-Pabos, Gaspé-Est), Quebec, where her husband was the mail courrier for many years. Ref: Old North Esk on the Miramichi (Northumberland County) New and enlarged Edition (2004), p59

Hello J.P.

They married in Restigouche, but were both from Bonaventure..
Archibald Kerr Alford son of Andrew Alford and Isabelle Downs
Janie Richie Adams d/o James Adams and Jane Block?

Also
Andrew Alford (probably A.K.'s father) has his death registration in N.B., March 3rd, 1899, born Miramichi, residence Runnymede Quebec, 68 years old.

Both documents are in PANB archives website.

Bonne journee.
