I posting the link to your previous thread that has info on this family, it may help others help you find the additional info you're now seeking.

Geographically, the two places this family has origins in, Petit-Rocher, New Brunswick and Bonaventure, Quebec are in proximity, separated by Chaleur Bay.

Do you have access to the Drouin Collection on Ancestry.com?
You'll need both the Acadian Collection for Petit-Rocher and Bathurst, New Brunswick and the Quebec Collection or Bonaventure, Quebec parishes including Carleton and Restigouche (Ste-Anne). The Quebec Parishes can most likely be found on familysearch.org, Quebec Catholic Church records. https://familysearch.org/search/image/show#uri=https%3A//api...

The census records (1861, 1871, 1881) I found for this family (see other thread) indicate the family was in Bonaventure, Quebec, so checking those parishes first would seem to be the mostly likely place to start.

Surnames: Comeau, Robinson
The marriage of Edward (Eloi) Doucette and Celine Leblanc
Restigouche (Ste-Anne), Bonaventure, PQ, CN, 3 Nov 1845.
You can review the record by going to the familysearch.org site. This is the direct link to the parish on familysearch, a free site:https://familysearch.org/search/image/show#uri=https%3A//api....

(There are some New Brunswick parishes on familysearch.org as well, but I don't think Petit-Rocher (St Polycarpe) is included.)

His parents aren't listed in the marriage record, he was widower, as I mentioned on the other thread. Her parents were Leon Leblanc and Marguerite Quinsey (sic).

I believe Edward Doucette's first marriage was to a Reine "Lucie" Comeau. 6 Sep 1841, Petit-Rocher (St-Polycarpe), Gloucester, New Brunswick. His parents listed are: Dominque Doucette and Helene Robinson.

Looking at more records will confirm this is the correct marriage. It was the only one I found for an Edward/Eloi Doucette and a Comeau in the near time period.

The years 1842-48 for Petit-Rocher (St-Polycarpe) are missing, finding bap records for any child born in the period might not be possible, nor can a death record be found for the first wife of Edward Comeau be found, it would have been in the missing record time-period.

==========================================================

Germain Doucet (listed as Jeremiah in 1861 census) (son of Edward Doucet and Lucie Comeau) married Angele Moriesset, 25 Nov 1861, Restigouche (Ste-Anne).

Hi, I have been doing searches branching into this for myself. Edwards daughters Mary and Marguirite are likely the parents of George. Mary married Ambroise Wilmot (ouimet). I'll try to get a decent photo of some marriages etc. You'll find them on the Canada census as wilmot not ouimet. Mary was Ambroise second wife, George was baptised in Feb. 1873 at the age of 3 and Ambroise and Mary Marqried July 1873, St. Annes de Restigouche. As far as anyone knows George married and moved to the U.S. in church records as parents unknown. On the census records they are usually Bonaventure county MANN district. You can see a lot for Eloi and Wilmots on the census 1861,1871,1881,1891,1901.

Surnames: Bachmann, Klippert, Wilmot.
Mary Doucette and Ambroise Wilmot had a daughter:
Bridget (Brigitte) Wilmot, b. Oct, 11. 1880, Ontario/Canada. Bridget married Sept, 09. 1902, Cambellton/Canada the german immigrant Bernhard Heinrich August Klippert (b. June, 29. 1871, Bremen/Germany), son of Hermann Gustav Klippert and Klementine Charlotte Bachmann.
I'm looking also for the death/burial-date/local of Bernhard, Bridget, Ambroise and Mary.

Hi, eduard aka Eloi Doucet was the LeBlanc line. There is 2 edouard and Marie Doucet so double check when looking at census records. The generation you're looking at were born/ baptized at Ste. Anne de Restigouche Quebec. I can sort through my files and forward copies to you if you'd like heather.red@hotmail.com
Mary (Marie) is the second wife of Ambroise Ouimet dit Wilmot, his father was Pierre and mother Marie-Anne Chamberlain, of Bellechasse qc. Ambroise 1st wife was Theotiste (I love this name) Labauve. They had several children. She died in 1870. George was baptized at age 3 Ste. Anne de Restigouche 01jun1873. He appears in the Doucet household in the 1871 census. My great grandfather was Adelard parents unknown and raised by Ambroise and Mary. I think he is the Joseph Inconnu baptised the same day as George (parents inconnu). Marguerite Doucet and her husband are Georges godparents.
Ambroise died in 1888 Ste Anne de Restigouche records and Mary in 1821. The true surname is Ouimet but census records. Show Wilmot, Wilmot for Ambroise as well as descendents.
Hope this gives you some assistance and let me know if you'd like me to send it to you. I have found that some church records sent to the government are different than what is in the original church records. The churches had to write 2 records so one would be sent to the Quebec govt.

Had a typo in my message, Mary Doucet died in 1921 not 1821, The father died June 1872. Marguerite married Jan 1873, Ambroise and Mary married in July 1873. All in the Ste. Anne de Restigouche records too.

Hello! Thank you for the informations! I apreciate so much if you can send me the copies on Ambroise Ouimet (Wilmot) and Marie Doucette (Mary Doucet).
Do you have some Info on Bridget Ann Wilmot (Brigitte Anna Ouimet), born Oct. 11, 1880 in Ontario? She was Ambroise's daughter and married Bernhard H. August Klippert.
