I would be very interested in any information on the Bryan family. My husband passed away in 1992. His GGGrandfather was Abraham Bryan and his GGGrandmother was Elizabeth Alice Thomas. I have a picture on her. don't know the age but older. Would gladly share genealogy and or pictures , if you are interested. Gwen Emery

Hi Gwen, I too am a descendant of Abraham and Elizabeth Bryan. They are my gggg-grandparents. I read from another post that they had up to 17 childern! I am a descendant of their child Ellen who married Octave Garceau. I would be very greatful if you would be willing to share that picture and related information with me. I of course would be happy to share my knowledge with you as well. I can be contacted directly at kjcontri@yahoo.comSincerely, Ken

Hi Gwen,
I've been trying to email at your personal address, but I keep getting failed delivery messages saying your mailbox is full! Anyways I wanted to thank you again for your offer to help. So far I thing I've identified 11 childern of Octave Garceau and Ellen Bryan:
1. William Octave 2. Corrie Abraham (my gg-grandfather) 3. Theodore Everett (the police office) 4. Garce E 5 Eugene Thomas 6 Lewis A 7 Joseph Newel (died age of 4) 8 Edith M 9 Alfred Oliver (your husbands line) 10 Malvina Mary 11 Trefley E I've complied this from numerous sources, but is by no mean 100% correct. I'm not sure who Edith is from Mass. I know my gg-grandfather's line and maybe William's line come into Mass, but I'm not thinking that area. Let me know if I can help with anything else. Also, let me know if you have another email address I can contact you at. Thanks again Gwen. Ken

Hi Ken,
I have access to many church records should you like any copies of original birth, marriage death records. Just let me know.
Thanks, Kelley

Hi Kelley,
Thanks so much for your offer to help. What churches do you have records for? I know I have relatives who were married/baptized/buried at St Edmund's church in Coaticook. I'm looking for anyone in those records that have the surnames Garceau, Hatcher and Bryan. Thanks, ken

Hi Ken,
Do you have a date range?
Thanks,
Kelley

Hi Kelley,
Yes...I guess anything in the Coaticook area from 1863 to 1893. I'm really focusing on the Garceau surname. Thanks again! Ken

Hi Ken,
I have to send you information in sections. I just lost a whole bunch of stuff I was trying to send you and had to restart. Some of the stuff you might already have, so bear with me! This first email is the background info. on both Octave and Ellen's mother and father, their marriage and their children. I will follow this up with copies of originals where I can find them. St. Edmund's online does not go as far back as I had hoped. So here is the first batch as an attachment. The copies of original docs. will follow in the next email.
If this doesn't work, do you have another email (hotmail etc.) I can attach the files to?
Best regards,
Kelley

Kelley, Thank you so much for your help! However I didn't see the attachment posted. It's probably best just to email me directly at kjcontri@yahoo.com. Hopefully that will be easier for you to work with. I can also send you some old pictures I have of related families. Thanks again Kelley! Ken
