Actually the YOUNG family *does* bear importance here. The neighbors are Erastus YOUNG and wife, Phebe CALL. Now I wasn't sure if Phebe was related to Whiting, though it made sense. And I'd seen posts that Whiting CALL's father was Daniel CALL. Then saw this too this evening:
"On my previous message, I forgot to tell you that Whiting Call's father was Daniel Call, and his mother was Almedia Turner. " (JackieLewis22 -

Erastus YOUNG b.c 1810, QUE or USA and d. btw 1871- 4 Apr 1881, m. Phebe CALL b. c 1812, QUE, of Hatley Twp., d.5 Apr 1881, Magog Twp., m. 2 Apr 1834, Church of England, Hatley Twp., Stanstead Co.
Turns out Erastus and Phebe had these issue (I've figured so far anyhow...)
George Madison YOUNG - b.c 1 Oct. 1837-30 Dec 1903 (Holyoke, MA)
Charles *Turner* YOUNG - b 21 Apr 1841 - 29 Mar. 1936, Beaverton, Brock Twp., Durham Co., ON
Amanda YOUNG - b.c. 1843 - d. aft 1861
Miles K. YOUNG - b.c. 1847 - d. aft 1885 (of prob Holyoke, aft 1898, or poss. ENGLAND)
Don E. YOUNG - b.c. 1851 - d. aft 1871, prob. aft 1898 of Holyoke, MA
Apparently most of Phebe's children migrated to Holyoke MA where they went to work in the Farr Alpaca (wool) mill. It seems though that George YOUNG went to Hamilton, Wentworth, or Hespler, Waterloo Co., ON, circa 1870 as it is here that backers for what would become Farr Alpaca went to mills in Hespeler to get Canadian backers for the Mass, USA mill. Once in place clearly they moved people as skilled labors right to Mass to work. George also went to England as well as a wool trader.
