Don't know if it's the same Ross family but my husband's grandmother was Emma Persis Ross of Robinson, Quebec, married to James Edward Burns in Cookshire. Her father was James W. Ross, buried in Cookshire, married to Hattie Buzzell.

I am also searching for information about Hattie Buzzell and James W. Ross. Their daughter (Emma's sister?) was my great-great grandmother, her name was Bertha Ross Fraser. I am curious about my family ethnicity on this side of my family. Nobody seems to be sure, I am told Irish, Scottish and Native. Any help would be great, thank you!
