Hi there;

I am a Lothrop, originating from Sherbrooke, Quebec. My dad was Stewart Lothrop, son of George Lothrop, son of Alba Lothrop.

I am now living in England, and would love to have any information on any of the Lothrop family so I can trace them back to England, and see just how far back I can. go. Also, obviously, would like to know of any family out-there!

I am daughter of Ernestine Anne (Lothrop) Abramski formerly of Sherbrooke, Quebec. Mum was born Mach 28,1916 to Ernest and Anne (Sangster) Lothrop. I think her brother's (Nelson) son Ashford is still in the area. My older brother John MacNaughton who lives in Enderby, BC or my sister, Gail Fleming on Lasqueti Island, BC would have more information on the names of mum's brothers (all deceased except Nelson) before I was born. Hope this helps a bit. The Lothrop family owned the Sherbrooke Laundry and Dry Cleaners on Frontenac Street.
