I found Bridget's baptism - matches with birthdate you show for her.
Notre Dame du Bonsecours, Buckingham and Grenville
February 10, 1837 baptism of Brigite born the 7th current, of legitimate marriage of Antoine McHale of Grenville and Marie McTauge. Sponsors George Vately and Anne O'Hanlon
baptism in same place
April 26, 1838 baptism of Antoine born the 22nd current, of legitimate marriage of Antoine McHale of Grenville and Marie McTigue. Sponsors Michael Hanlon and Bridgette Shurbeck.
I have not been able yet to find marriage for Antoine/Anthony and Marie/Mary but there is a marriage in same place as above baptisms for a Michel McFague and Catherine Mathews
in 1836, he son of Joseph McFague and Brigitte Shurlock
I suspect the Shurbeck/Shurlock is same name, mispelled in one of the records.
at ancestry there is an obit for Bridget O'Halloran in 1921 MA- linked to a tree - it shows her as wife of Patrick and listed among her survivors are a brother Barkley McKale of MN and sister Mrs. John McTeague of Arizona. - sot hat seems to fit with the earlier census and marriages in Quebec.
http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/28557402/person/12060217678/p...I see in 1930 Bartley Mckale 90, is living in MN with a Mary Mctague 63 and Richard Mctague 31
Bartley is shown as father of Mary so looks like the McHale/McKale and Mctague families intertwined quite a bit.
a Bartholomew McKale died Sept. 6, 1932 MN - from ancestry
and at family search.or (MN deaths) his death shows Martholomew McKale died Sept. 6, 1932 Cloquet, Carlton, MN parents ANthony McKale an d Mary Mctague
and at familysearch.org (AZ deaths)
Catherine Mctague died July 19, 1922 Phoenix, Maricopa, AZ, father Anthony McKale, husband John Mctague
mother's name not shown
From a tree at ancestry I found marriage for Bridget's sister Margaret
Margaret Mckeal age 30, born Grenville, Quebec, daughter of Anthony McKeal and Mary McQuaig, and Matthew Regan age 26, born Plymouth, England son of Matthew Regan and Mary Regan, married April 26, 1880 Carleton, Ontario
** her age is off but maybe she wanted to appear younger as her husband was somewhat younger than she.
they also have a death for an Ellen McHale who they show as a daughter of Anthony and Mary but I looked at her death record and McHale was married name and no parents listed so not
child of Anthony and Mary.
Odd but I cannot find Matthew and Margaret at all after their marriage so I went to look at the ON Catholic records and found their marriage there. Margaret is shown as daughter of Anthony McKeal and Mary McTaige and Matthew's surname looks more like Ryan or Bryan than Regan.
In this record he is indexed as Wyans.
I still can't find them together after their marriage
