I am researching a James BROCK family who were in Addison Co. VT 1787 - 1795 and lastly located in St. Armond, Quebec in 1797. His wife's name is unknown, but they had two sons (John born 1783, James born @ 1793) and six or seven daughters (Hannah, Sarah, Sabra, Fanny, Mary, and ?). One daughter married Dan RICE and Hannah married Abel Pickering.
Son John settled in Ontario but I have no found anything further on the rest of the family.

Beth, we have a James Brock b.abt.1793 in the US who lived in Quebec by 1815, and later migrated to Ontario...could we be talking about the same family?

Beth have you made any headway on this line? WE spoke many eyars ago about the possibility that my Annie born 1805 married to Hezekiah ferguson fits here. The names all carried through in my line and my Fegusons were in Addison VT too. Some records suggest Annie was born in Lennox & Addington not far rom Quebec. I have in my notes MAry married Ammon Powell and settled in Lindsay. I hve also found an Isaac Brock born 1818 Lennox & Addington who may be a brother - died Feb 15 1888 wooler He married Christiana and mentions children Alfred & ellen Jane in his will
